Renew Your Red Cross CPR Certification: A Step-by-Step Guide
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is designed to resuscitate a victim who has stopped breathing. The American Red Cross offers classes in CPR training to teach both adults and children how to react in an emergency. According to the American Red Cross website, "Red Cross Preparedness programs in first aid, CPR and AED are available for any age and can be tailored to the needs of specific groups and individuals." Recertification classes are designed for individuals who have taken CPR in the past but want to take a refresher course.
