How to Find a MassHealth Provider
MassHealth is a public health insurance program for those who live in the state of Massachusetts. Designed for people in the lower to middle income bracket, MassHealth combines both Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program. Half of the program's cost is covered by the federal government, while the rest is paid for by the state of Massachusetts. However, not all doctors accept patients on MassHealth. If you need medical care, locate a doctor who accepts your insurance before going to the hospital.
