How to Register With Express Scripts
Express Scripts is an online pharmacy that lowers healthcare costs by filling prescription refills with generic drugs. They use the lowest-cost generics available and many insurance companies now require you to purchase your medications through Express Scripts to keep costs down. Once you register with Express Scripts, you sign up to have your prescriptions automatically refilled every three months and mailed to your home, saving you a trip to the pharmacy.
Instructions
Navigate to the Express Scripts website at www.express-scripts.com. This is a secure website and you do not need to be concerned about entering personal information.
Look for the words "Members: Get Started" in all capital letters on the left-hand side. Directly below that is the link "Register Now." Click on the link to begin.
Enter your Member ID, which can be found on your Express Scripts Member ID card. If you do not have a Member ID card you can enter your social-security number.
Fill out the remaining personal information as required. Click "Next" at the bottom of each screen until all personal information has been entered.
Read the "Notice of Privacy Practices" window that pops up when you have completed filling out your personal information. You may want to click the "Print this Page" link to print the page for your records before clicking the "I Have Read" button.
