X-Ray Authorization in Florida: PA & NP Regulations

In the state of Florida, only those individuals who are licensed by the state's Department of Health as radiographers or registered technologists are authorized to take x-rays. Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are not currently granted this authority by their respective licenses, and therefore, cannot legally perform x-ray procedures in Florida.
