AED Pad Placement with Chemotherapy Ports: A Healthcare Guide

If a patient has a chemo port, the AED pads should be placed as follows:

- One pad should be placed on the right side of the chest, just below the collarbone.

-The other pad should be placed on the left side of the chest, just below the breast.

-The pads should be placed so that they are not directly over the chemo port.
