Frances Brandon: Mother of Lady Jane Grey | Historical Facts

Lady Jane Grey's mother was Frances Brandon, Duchess of Suffolk. She was the daughter of Henry VII's younger sister, Mary Tudor, and her husband, Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk. Frances Brandon was born in 1517, and she married Henry Grey, Marquess of Dorset, in 1533. They had three daughters together, including Lady Jane Grey. Frances Brandon died in 1559.
