Understanding Body Odor During Puberty in Boys
During puberty, boys experience increased levels of hormones, including testosterone. These hormones stimulate the sebaceous glands in the skin to produce more sebum, which is an oily substance. Sebum helps to keep the skin and hair moist, but it can also trap dirt and bacteria, leading to body odour.
