What is the age to have periods?
The average age for a girl to have her first period is 12 years old. However, it is normal for girls to start their periods anywhere between the ages of 8 and 16. There are many factors that can affect the age at which a girl starts her period, including genetics, nutrition, and overall health.
If your daughter has not yet started her period by the age of 16, it is important to see a doctor to rule out any underlying medical conditions
