Blood Donation Age Requirements in Texas: Who Can Donate?
In Texas, the minimum age to donate blood is 16 years old. However, 16 year olds must met additional, strict criteria:
- Written consent from a parent or guardian;
- Weigh at least 110 pounds;
- Be in good health;
- Never tested positive for HIV or syphilis.
