Croup and School: When Can Children Return?
Croup is a common childhood respiratory illness that is usually mild and does not require medical treatment. Symptoms of croup include a barking cough, hoarseness, and difficulty breathing. In most cases, children with croup can attend school as long as their symptoms are mild and they are able to breathe comfortably. However, if a child's symptoms are severe, such as difficulty breathing, they should stay home from school and see a doctor.Pediatrics - Related Articles
