Buying glasses online requires you to provide the vendor with your measurements. You can generally obtain this information by looking at the inside of your frames. If that information is not provided, or has been scratched off, you can obtain the necessary measurements yourself. The bridge measurement is vital because it determines how the spectacles fit on your nose.

  Lay the ruler across the bridge of the glasses. Place the end that begins with zero on the left edge of the bridge.

  Read the number that corresponds with the edge of the lens on the right side of the bridge.

  Write the number down for your reference.
