Menstruation & Religion: Practices Beyond Islam & Judaism
While Islam and Judaism have specific restrictions on sexual activity during menstruation, there are other religions that do not prohibit it. These include Hinduism, Buddhism, and Taoism. In these religions, menstruation is seen as a natural process and is not considered to be impure or unclean. As such, there are no religious restrictions on sexual activity during this time.
It is important to note that even within these religions, there may be individual variations in beliefs and practices. Some individuals may choose to abstain from sexual activity during menstruation for personal or cultural reasons, while others may not see it as a necessary restriction.
