DIY Foaming Hand Sanitizer: Easy Recipe & Cost Savings
Foaming alcohol hand sanitizer has become increasingly popular as people try to prevent illness by killing germs. The products aren't always cheap, however, so buying it on a regular basis can hurt your wallet if you're not careful. One option is to make it at home so that you control the ingredients and the costs. It is relatively simple to make with a few items that you might already have on hand.Things You'll Need
- Pump bottle
- Measuring cup
- Funnel
- 1 cp. aloe vera gel
- 1/2 cp. 90 percent isopropyl alcohol
- 3 drops essential oil
Instructions
Set up your ingredients on a table or work space. Place the funnel in the open pump bottle.
Place 1 cp. of aloe vera gel in your measuring cup. Funnel the gel into the pump bottle.
Add one-half cp. isopropyl alcohol to your measuring cup. Funnel it into the pump bottle.
Squeeze three drops of your favorite essential oil into the pump bottle. Close the lid and shake the bottle. Use on your hands when needed to kill germs.
