Muslim Family Size in the US: Statistics & Trends

According to the Pew Research Center, as of 2017, the median family size of Muslims living in the United States was 3.72 persons, compared with 3.16 persons for non-Muslims. This difference reflects both the higher average number of children per Muslim household and the greater likelihood of Muslim households to include multiple generations living together.
