Effortlessly Remove Band-Aid Adhesive Residue: Simple & Safe Methods
In order to keep the bandage in place, Band-Aid uses an adhesive to adhere it to the skin. This adhesive can leave a sticky residue on the skin, and soap and water does little to remove it. A few inexpensive and safe products dissolve the adhesive from the skin.Things You'll Need
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Soft cloth
- Soap
- Towel
Instructions
Pour 1/4 cup olive oil in a small container or bowl. Dip a clean, soft cloth in the olive oil. Rub the Band-Aid bandage adhesive stuck on the skin gently with the olive oil-damp cloth.
Add more olive oil to the cloth if needed and continue gently rubbing the skin until you have removed all traces of the Band-Aid glue.
Remove the olive oil from the skin with warm, soapy water. Rinse the soapy residue off the skin with warm water, and dry with a towel.
