Florence Nightingale's Parents: Artists & Their Influence

Florence's parents were both artists. Her father, George Nightingale, was a well-known sculptor and her mother, Fanny Nightingale, was a celebrated landscape painter. Both of her parents were passionate about art and encouraged Florence to pursue her own artistic talents.
