Longest Time Clinically Dead & Resuscitated: A Medical Mystery

The longest someone has been dead and brought back to life is 10 minutes. This happened in 1985 when a 20-year-old man was brought back to life after being clinically dead for 10 minutes. The man was skiing in Colorado when he fell and hit his head on a tree. He was rushed to the hospital and was pronounced dead but 10 minutes later, he started breathing again. The doctors were able to resuscitate him and he made a full recovery.
