Why Catholics commit suicide more than protestant?

There is no scientific evidence to support the claim that Catholics commit suicide more than Protestants. Some studies have found that the suicide rate is higher among Catholics than among Protestants, but other studies have found the opposite. It is likely that the suicide rate among Catholics and Protestants is about the same.
