Comforting Words for Grief: Finding Solace in Shared Experiences
"It's okay to not be okay."
This was the best thing someone said to me when I was grieving the loss of my beloved pet. It allowed me to give myself permission to feel sad, angry, and all the other emotions that come with grief. It also helped me to realize that I wasn't alone in my grief, and that others had been through similar experiences.
Losing a loved one is never easy, and it's important to allow yourself to grieve in your own way. There is no right or wrong way to do so. If you're struggling with grief, please reach out to a friend, family member, therapist, or other trusted individual for support.
