How to Remove Band-Aid Glue
You have survived the pain of your injury and the pain of removing the band-aid, but now you are left with sticky residue on your skin. Instead of being stuck with dirty glue on your skin, simply look to a few household items to set you free.Things You'll Need
- Cotton balls
- Baby oil
- Rubbing alcohol
- Mild soap
Instructions
Pour several drops of baby oil onto a cotton ball and wipe over the adhesive residue. Make sure to really soak the area and let it set for a few minutes before moving to Step 2.
Take a clean cotton ball and soak it with rubbing alcohol. Gently rub over the baby oil-soaked areas to remove the glue, turning the cotton ball resaturating with alcohol as necessary to maintain a clean surface. Wipe the area until all residue is removed.
Wash the area with mild soap to remove all traces of glue and to keep the alcohol from drying out your skin.
