Understanding Infantile Genitalia: Development & Normal Variations
Infantile genitalia refers to the size and appearance of the genitals of a child before they reach puberty. In males, the penis and testicles are small and undeveloped, while in females, the labia and clitoris are relatively small and the uterus and ovaries are not yet fully developed. The appearance of infantile genitalia is normal in children and is a sign of normal development. As a child enters puberty, the genitals will begin to grow and mature, eventually reaching adult size and appearance.Baby Health - Related Articles
