Sustainable Weight Loss: A Guide to Losing 10kg (or More)
Maintaining a healthy body weight is essential to being healthy. Unfortunately, many people struggle with their weight because they may not have time to cook healthy foods or incorporate exercise into their routine. With a bit of tweaking to your daily life, you can lose 10 kg or more. The best way to lose weight is slowly over time. When you lose weight too quickly, you may end up regaining that weight.
Instructions
Track the food that you are currently eating. When creating a weight loss plan, you should learn where you are starting from. For a week, write down everything that you eat and count the daily calorie value. Note any areas where you may be able to cut back.
Determine your daily calorie range. Once you know how many calories you are already eating, you can figure out how many calories you should eat to lose weight. In general, you should aim to eat 500 fewer calories per day.
Add up the calories that you eat throughout the day. Be sure that it adds up to your daily limit or less.
Burn more calories with exercise. If you exercise, you will be able to lose weight faster. If you're new to exercise, start with a light 30-minute routine such as walking. If you're already an avid exerciser, you should increase your exercise time or intensity to burn more calories.
Build muscles with strength training for a lean look. Strength training plays an important role in weight loss. Do muscle building exercises a few times a week, but don't overdo it. Your muscles should get a break in between workouts.
