How to Replace a Nike Triax Battery
The Nike Triax is a heart rate monitor designed to help you when exercising. The Triax has two components: a watch (displays heart rate information) and a heart rate transmitter monitor (straps around your chest and records your heart rate). Both of these components are battery-operated. The Lithium battery in your Triax watch should last approximately one and a half years; the battery in your Triax heart rate transmitter monitor should last approximately one year.Things You'll Need
- Lithium battery CR-2032-3V (transmitter and watch)
- Coin
Instructions
Triax Watch Battery
Flip the watch over to expose the battery cover.
Insert a coin (such as a quarter) into the battery slot. Turn the coin counterclockwise to release the battery cover.
Pull out the old battery. Insert the new battery, with the positive side ("plus" symbol) facing up.
Replace the battery cover. Tighten the cover by twisting it clockwise with the coin.
Triax Transmitter Battery
Turn the transmitter over, exposing the battery cover on the bottom.
Insert a coin into the slot; turn the coin counterclockwise to remove the transmitter battery cover.
Remove the old transmitter battery. Insert the new battery with the positive side facing up.
Replace the battery cover. Tighten it with the coin (turn it clockwise).
