NuPhedrine Directions
NuPhedrine is the brand name of a diet pill marketed by Nutratech, Inc. of Wayne, New Jersey. The pills contain three active ingredients: Hoodia, Slimuluma and Advantra-Z. Advantra-Z is a formulation of synephrine. The recipe for this formulation has been the subject of a legal dispute between Nutratech and Zhishin, LLC of Burlington, Vermont. Hoodia and slimuluma are both widely reported to be appetite suppressants, although no major drug company has yet marketed a diet pill based on either of them. Synephrine is a vaso-constrictor that is commonly used in nasal sprays. As of 2011, NuPhedrine cost about $1 a tablet.
