How to Add Protein Powder to Yogurt
If you're tired of always taking your protein powder in a shake, add it to your favorite yogurt to boost its protein content--and while you're at it, add some fruits, candy, nuts, granola or toasted wheat germ to it for a delicious snack or dessert that's very healthy, too.Things You'll Need
- Protein powder
- Bottled water
- Cup or small bowl
- Spoon
- Your favorite yogurt brand/flavor
- Your favorite fresh fruit (optional)
- Your favorite nuts (optional)
- Mini chocolate chips or pieces of your favorite candy (optional)
- Granola, toasted wheat germ or coconut (optional)
Instructions
Preparation
Place one scoop of your favorite brand of protein powder into a small bowl.
Add one to two tablespoons of bottled water to the protein powder and mix it with a small spoon until it's smooth and creamy. Add a little more water to it if desired. This makes the protein powder easier to blend into the yogurt without clumping up.
Add one cup or more of your favorite yogurt to the protein powder and water mixture and blend until smooth.
Stir in some cut-up fresh fruit, nuts, chocolate pieces or candy, granola, wheat germ or coconut to the yogurt mixture.
