How to Create Posters With Nutrition Displays
It may seem impossible to make posters with nutrition displays without the use of special equipment, but with a little effort it's easy to do it on your own computer. Nutrition labels are on most foods that you buy. They sometimes have a complicated list of nutrients and are usually printed by specialist printers. But don't worry; you can make a professional nutrition display that you can print and stick to a poster or edit on your computer.Things You'll Need
- Image editing software
Instructions
Go to a nutrition website which allows sharing of images. Create a login for the website. Check your email for the login details, if necessary, and make sure you are logged in to the site.
Click on the "Foods" link on the nutrition website. Search for the food you want to use for your nutrition display poster. Click on the food to display a nutrition label, or use the site links to find the label.
Open your image-editing software. Take a screenshot of the active window: "Hold down the Alt key and press PrtScr/Print Screen." Open a new file in the image-editing software and paste your screen shot onto the new file.
Select the exact area of the nutrition label with the "Select" tool. Crop the image to leave only this area: "Image ---> Crop" or similar command. Re-size the image to your desired size: "Image ---> Re-size" or similar command.
Print the image if you want to stick it to a poster. Set up the paper size, print and cut around the border. Edit the image in the software and add a background, writing and other images instead if desired.
