How to Use Vegetable Glycerin While Fasting
Bad breath is a negative consequence of fasting. When you don’t eat, your salivary glands do not produce as much saliva. Thus, the saliva is unable to properly flush out the odor-causing bacteria from your mouth and tongue. One way to remedy this is to brush your teeth, gums and tongue with vegetable glycerine based toothpaste. Vegetable-glycerine has natural antibacterial properties. Purchase it at a health food or natural remedy store.Things You'll Need
- Baking soda
- Salt
- Vegetable glycerine
- Peppermint essential oil
- Toothbrush
- 4 bunches of fresh parsley
- Vegetable glycerin
Instructions
Mix 5 teaspoons of baking soda with ¼ teaspoon salt.
Add 5 teaspoons vegetable glycerine and 10 drops of peppermint essential oil. Mix to combine all of the ingredients.
Dip your toothbrush into the vegetable glycerine-based toothpaste to coat the ends of all of the bristles.
Brush your tongue with the toothpaste to remove odor-causing bacteria. Brush you gums, teeth and the roof of your mouth.
Spit out the toothpaste residue.
Rinse your mouth with water.
Repeat this process as needed during your fast.
