Effective DIY Teeth Whitening: A Simple Brushing Guide
A diet that includes coffee, red wine or dark sodas can darken the teeth and leave many people in search of whitening solutions. However, not many people are willing to pay the hundreds of dollars it requires to have their teeth professionally whitened. There are over-the-counter whitening options available at drugstores, but you can easily whiten your teeth at home by simply brushing with a special solution once a week. It's nearly free and works quickly.Things You'll Need
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon hydrogen peroxide
- Small cup
- Toothbrush
Instructions
Pour the baking soda and hydrogen peroxide into the cup.
Use the handle end of the toothbrush to mix the solution into a paste. Let the solution sit for a few minutes to allow it to thicken.
Scoop the paste onto the toothbrush.
Brush your teeth thoroughly with the paste, being sure to cover each surface of each tooth.
Rinse your mouth with cool water.
Repeat once a week for best results.
