What is a white taste bud?

There is no such thing as a "white taste bud." Taste buds are small sensory organs that contain taste cells, which are responsible for detecting different tastes. Taste buds can be found on the tongue, the roof of the mouth, the back of the throat, and the epiglottis. They are not white in color.
