Sonicare Advanced Troubleshooting & Repair Guide
The Sonicare Advance is an electric toothbrush manufactured by Philips. Powered by a rechargeable battery, this toothbrush is capable of providing hours of cordless brushing using a disposable brush head attached to the handle. Sometimes, the Sonicare does not perform as expected. This can pose a problem for people in a hurry or in need of a good brushing. Knowing how to identify and repair such malfunctions can save you frustration and spare you from having to hastily purchase a new toothbrush.
Instructions
Put the Sonicare toothbrush in the plugged in charger base overnight if the toothbrush will not power on.
Ensure that the Sonicare brush head is properly secured on the handle is the toothbrush is not working. Check that the bar on the brush head is aligned with the notch on the handle and the base of the brush head is flush with the top of the handle.
Tighten the brush head nut to fix brush head rattling. Locate the brush head nut at the base of the handle where the brush head slides over. Turn the nut clockwise until it is secured firmly into place.
Disable the "Easy-start" feature to resolve issues related to brushing power. Connect the brush head to the handle, put the toothbrush in the plugged in charger base and hold down the power button for five seconds to do this.
