How to Change the Batteries in a Crest Electric Spin Brush
The Crest electric Spinbrush is now known as the Arm and Hammer Spinbrush, as the product line was purchased from Procter and Gamble in 2005. According to Arm and Hammer, the Spinbrush is the same product but simply uses a different name. All Spinbrushes, with the exception of the ProClean Recharge and ProClean Sonic Recharge, have user-replaceable batteries. The battery type and number of batteries may vary between models, but the replacement procedure is the same.Things You'll Need
- Replacement alkaline batteries
Instructions
Turn the Spinbrush's power switch to "Off." Hold the unit's handle with the brush pointing away from you. Rotate it so the brush is pointing to the left.
Apply pressure to the indentation on the upper side of the toothbrush handle with your thumb. Push forward to slide the battery cover off.
Pry the old batteries out with your fingers.
Place the new batteries in the compartment. Line them up according to the diagram inside. Make sure the "Positive" side of the batteries is pointing in the direction indicated.
Push the cover into place and slide it downward with your thumb to reattach it. Turn the power switch on to test the Spinbrush.
