Oral-B & Braun Toothbrush Instructions: A Comprehensive Guide
Braun has two main sections of its Oral B product line: electric toothbrushes and manual toothbrushes. Using each of these requires a slightly different method, but the common thread is consistent tooth brushing with attention to detail. If you make sure you take the time to brush your teeth correctly, and do so at least twice a day, then your teeth should be healthy and your breath fresh.
Instructions
Manual Toothbrush
Brush the outer and inner surfaces of your teeth by holding the toothbrush at a 45-degree angle and moving it up and down in half-tooth-size strokes.
Brush the chewing surfaces (the parts of the teeth that touch one another when your mouth is closed) by brushing in a back-and-forth manner.
Scrape your tongue from the back to the front to freshen your breath.
Ensure you do this for two minutes--30 seconds for each of the four parts of your mouth (top left, bottom left, top right and bottom right).
Electric Toothbrush
Turn on the electric toothbrush and hold it against a surface at a 45-degree angle. You do not need to brush back and forth because the toothbrush moves in a circular motion on its own.
Hold the toothbrush on a section to brush it.
Slowly move the toothbrush around your mouth in the same manner as you did with the manual toothbrush. However, you are guiding in this case, not brushing.
