Bone Tissue: Structure, Lacunae, Calcium, and Blood Supply
The tissue that has lacunae, calcium salts, and blood vessels is bone tissue. Lacunae are small cavities that house osteocytes, mature bone cells. Calcium salts, mainly hydroxyapatite, provide strength and rigidity to the bone. Blood vessels supply oxygen and nutrients to the bone cells and help regulate the exchange of substances between bone and blood.Root Canals - Related Articles
