Post-Tonsillectomy Nosebleeds: Causes, Risks & When to Worry
Nosebleeds are a relatively common occurrence after a tonsillectomy, and are usually not a cause for concern. They occur because the blood vessels in the back of the throat are often damaged during the procedure, and it can take some time for them to heal. Nosebleeds typically occur within the first few days after the surgery, and usually stop on their own within a few minutes. However, if you experience heavy bleeding that doesn't stop after several minutes, or if you are concerned about the bleeding, you should contact your doctor.Root Canals - Related Articles
