PA stands for Physician's Assistant. Physician assistants are medical professionals who are licensed to practice medicine under the supervision of a physician. MS stands for Master of Science. A Master of Science degree is a postgraduate degree that typically takes two years to complete. It is a research-based degree that requires students to complete a thesis or dissertation.
