Where do granulocytes come from?
Granulocytes are a type of white blood cell that are produced in the bone marrow. They are released into the bloodstream when they are mature, and they help to protect the body from infection. Granulocytes are divided into three types: neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils. Neutrophils are the most common type of granulocyte, and they make up about 60% of all white blood cells. Eosinophils make up about 2-4% of all white blood cells, and basophils make up less than 1% of all white blood cells.Gingivitis - Related Articles
