Angular Cheilitis: Causes, Symptoms & Effective Treatments
Angular cheilitis is a condition where the corners of your mouth become cracked and may bleed. This can become painful and a real nuisance. There are many factors that could cause angular cheilitis. For example, if you live in a dry area, the dryness could cause the cracking around your mouth. Other times angular cheilitis could be caused by lack of vitamins.
Instructions
Use antifungal medication to treat angular cheilitis. Angular cheilitis can be caused by yeast infections. Be careful when using the antifungal medication as you might swallow it when you are eating.
Use chap sticks to cure angular cheilitis caused by dryness. You may also want to stop licking your lips as well. This tends to dry out the area.
Take vitamin supplements to treat angular cheilitis. You can either take vitamin B12 supplements or you can eat foods that contain that vitamin. For example, you can eat more milk, egg, and cheese.
