How to Keep a Chipped Tooth From Chipping More
Chipping a tooth can occur when you bite on something hard or sustain a blow to your mouth. A severely chipped tooth can continue to chip further if measures are not taken to prevent this from happening. Severe chips have a deep crack that often exposes the inside of the tooth.
Instructions
Stop any bleeding by applying mild pressure to your gums.
Eat soft foods. Eating soft foods prevents any additional trauma to the tooth.
Chew foods without using the chipped tooth. This means you will have to isolate chewing to one side of your mouth.
See your dentist as soon as possible.
