Can you add a vitallium to denture with ultrasuction inserts?
Vitallium (cobalt-chromium) alloy cannot be added to a denture with ultrasuction inserts. Ultrasuction inserts fit into holes drilled in the base of a denture to increase suction. Vitallium is a metal that is not compatible with the plastic used in dentures. Different materials used for denture bases include acrylic resin, metal (cobalt-chromium or stainless steel), nylon, or vinyl.Cavities - Related Articles
