How are flexon glasses made?
Flexon glasses are made using a patented process called NitroDur 3. This process involves infusing nitrogen molecules into the metal alloy used to make the frames, which results in a material that is 25% stronger and 35% more flexible than traditional metal alloys.
The NitroDur 3 process begins by melting the metal alloy in a vacuum chamber. This process removes any impurities from the alloy and ensures that the nitrogen molecules are evenly distributed throughout the material. The alloy is then cooled and rolled into sheets, which are used to create the frames for Flexon glasses.
Flexon glasses are also unique in that they use a special type of hinge called a "Living Hinge". This hinge is made from a flexible material that allows the frames to bend and flex without breaking. The Living Hinge also helps to distribute the weight of the glasses evenly, making them more comfortable to wear.
The combination of NitroDur 3 and the Living Hinge makes Flexon glasses extremely strong and durable. They are also very comfortable to wear, and they can be easily adjusted to fit any face shape.
