Going Up Stairs
Place one crutch under your arm. Use the other arm to grab the handrail (if there is one).
Move your stronger leg to the stair.
Move your injured leg next.
Move the crutch up the step.
Going Down Stairs
Move the crutch down to the step below you.
Move your injured leg down to the stair.
Move the stronger leg down to the stair.
