Wart Appearance After Freeze-Away: What to Expect
When you use a freeze away treatment on a wart, the area around the wart will initially turn white and hard, as the targeted tissue has been subjected to freezing temperatures. Over the next few weeks, the wart should gradually darken, often with a black scab forming over the treated area. As the treated tissue flakes away, the wart will gradually shrink in size and eventually fall off. In most cases, the entire process can take several weeks or even months to complete, depending on the size of the wart and how well it responds to the treatment. Patience is therefore important during the treatment period.Warts - Related Articles
