Natural Toenail Fungus Remedies: Effective Home Treatments
Fungus tends to live in warm, moist places, like showers and spas. When feet aren't kept properly protected, the toenails become susceptible to fungal infection. - Tea tree oil
- Olive oil
- Cotton balls
- Mouthwash
- Water
- Soap
- Small basin
Instructions
Tea Tree Oil
Mix 1 tsp. olive oil with 1 tsp. tea tree oil.
Soak a cotton ball with the mixture.
Dab the cotton ball onto toenails that are affected by fungus. The tea tree oil works as natural anti-fungal treatment.
Repeat this treatment twice a day.
Mouthwash
Wash your feet with soap and water.
Fill a small basin with mouthwash.
Soak your toes in the mouthwash for 30 minutes.
Wash your feet again with soap and water.
Repeat this treatment once a day. Make sure to disinfect the basin after every soak to prevent the spread of fungus.
