Ebola in the US: The 2014 Outbreak and its Origins
Ebola came to the US through a Liberian man named Thomas Eric Duncan. Duncan contracted the disease in Liberia and unknowingly brought it with him when he traveled to the United States in September 2014. He was admitted to a Dallas, Texas, hospital where he was initially diagnosed with a sinus infection, but was later correctly identified as having Ebola. Duncan passed away from the disease on October 8, 2014.Viral Infections - Related Articles
