How to Stop Snoring With a Snore Guard
One major cause of snoring is the vibration of air against the soft palate and uvula in the back of the throat. This typically only occurs when the bottom jaw relaxes and slightly shifts back which in turn narrows the airway. The Snore Guard appliance, which looks similar to a standard athletic mouth piece, prevents the shift of the bottom jaw, and thus eliminates the snoring problem. Each Snore Guard is custom fit by a dentist to ensure the best possible results.
Instructions
Visit your dentist to have a Snore Guard custom fit to your mouth. The entire fitting process takes only a matter of minutes, and requires no outside lab work. Your dentist will trim off any excess material that may otherwise cause irritation or discomfort in your mouth.
Put the Snore Guard in your mouth each night before you go to sleep. The Snore Guard should fit snugly over your top teeth.
Remove the Snore Guard in the morning and brush it with normal toothpaste and a toothbrush.
Store the appliance in its container any time it's not in use.
