How to Reset a Resmed VPAP III
Each year, 40 million people suffer from chronic sleep disorders in the United States. Doctors frequently prescribe devices to assist patients with breathing as a treatment program for sleep disorders. The Resmed VPAP III is a bilevel device designed for this purpose. Devices prescribed for long-term treatment are used by patients in their own homes, making educating patients about how to use devices mandatory. However, while patients can utilize settings on the VPAP III, resetting the device should only be done by a clinician.
Instructions
Open the "Clinical Options" menu on the Resmed VPAP III .
Select the "Erase Data" setting.
Press "Enter." The machine will display "Are You Sure?"
Select "Yes."
