How to Install an Orthomatic Adjustable Bed

An Orthomatic Adjustable Bed allows users to move the mattress to a specific shape to help them sleep more comfortably. The bed sets up similarly to a regular box spring and mattress set. The bed does not require any more space than a regular bed, but should sit by an electrical outlet.

• Broom and dust pan

  Clear out an area large enough for the bed, near an outlet. Vacuum or sweep the floor.

  Set up the bed frame according to the product instructions. Leave a 2-inch gap between the wall and the frame.

  Place the bottom piece onto the frame. Set the top mattress on top of the bottom one. Put on the sheets, pillows and blankets.

  Plug the controls into the frame. Place the controls where you can find them easily, for example on top of a nightstand.
