Sleeping Pills & Puppies: Risks and Alternatives

Sleeping pills (such as over-the-counter and prescription sleep aids) should never be given to a puppy and can certainly cause harm including potentially life-threatening respiratory depression (slow/shallow breathing). Always take your puppy to see a veterinarian for proper assessment and care should they be struggling to sleep or are experiencing any medical concerns.
