What are the 7 layers of outermost skin found in palm hands or soles feet?
The palmar (palm) and plantar (sole) skin does not have the typical 7 epidermal layers observed in other body areas with thin skin. Instead, palmar and plantar skin contains 5 distinct epidermal layers: stratum corneum, lucidum, granulosum, spinosum, and basale.
There isn't any stratum granulosum.
