Plantar fasciitis
- Inflammation of the thick band of tissue (plantar fascia) that runs across the bottom of your foot and connects your heel bone to your toes.
- Common cause of heel pain and can also cause pain in the arch of your foot.
Heel spurs

- Can be caused by plantar fasciitis or other conditions.
Tarsal tunnel syndrome
- Compression of the tarsal nerve, which runs along the inside of your ankle and into your foot.
- Can cause pain, numbness, and tingling in your heel, arch, and toes.
